If you have received a ticket from one of our municipal police officers, you have at least 10 business days from the date of offense to contact the court office. If you do not contact the court, you will be charged with failure to appear, an additional fine. Once you have contacted the court, you can either pay the fine, or schedule a meeting with the city prosecuting attorney, or request a trial.
